www.13thman.com began as a hobby for owner Derek Dale in October of 2002, www.13thman.com is designed to be a place for Canadian Football Fans around the world to gather, share information, interests and develop friendships.

It is not a for profit site but there are costs involved in running the site. A site like this needs fancy bells and whistles in it's hosting package, including adequate bandwidth, data transfer, and access to databases such as MySQL to run the message boards etc, and since inception has outgrown numerous hosting services. Of course as the site grows, so do the costs to host the site.

We gladly pay these costs to provide you with a quality environment for you to share your passion for the CFL, but we also appreciate your help in covering such costs.

The site is busy enough that if we all chip in a small amount we should be able to fund it without the need for annoying banner and pop up advertising.

The visitors who donate to fund the site are referred to as MVP's. 
MVP status is like a season ticket and requires renewal each year to maintain your MVP status. 

Renewal Date is the the same day players become Free Agents (mid Feb) however you can become an MVP at any time

MVP members recieve

» MVP members can also have a Personal Photo Gallery holding up to 12 photos.
» an MVP Icon under their message board nickname to indicate they are supporters of the site.
» either a @13thman.com, @thegreycup.com or @lionbackers.com email address
» MVP members are also eligible for any pool prizes* for this years www.13thman.com CFL pick em pool.

Recommend donations to become an MVP should be based on what YOU can afford and what YOU feel it's worth.

While the pools at 13thman.com are FREE and open for all to play only MVP's are eligible to win prizes.
