Calgary is more likely to lose one of their West Division All Star kickers than a QB.

Possibly the most abused and underrated guy in the CFL. I sure hope he finds a home.

The problem with Glenn is where else is he going to start? The only possibility is Winnipeg but at the press conference to announce the signing of Drew Willy, Mike Oshea declared Willy the starting QB. BC is interested in Glenn as well to play him behind Lulay of course,I suspect either he will stay in Ottawa or he will be traded to BC.

Glenn played well for the Lions tonight. Glad we got him.

After two games, it looks like Burris needs to find out who will step up and be his go to receiver. Just could not find that one guy on Friday in Edmonton.
Need a massive running game to make 134 passing yards digestible.

Next game might be a bit easier with the porous Argo defense. Also being it is the franchise home opener might kick start some of these guys.

216 yards for Burris, with 43 of those on one play.
Ottawa passing game still far from where it needs to be, but a win is a win.
Tied for first place one week, then tied for last the next, maybe.
Better get something going against Hamilton who held the Stamps to just 201 pass yards at McMahon.

The Argos will get hammered again against Sask so the Redblacks can stay closis for now.

Done as predicted, but mostly self-inflicted by Toronto.

Poor performance by Burris again as he is unable to move his team in the first half.
Riders get fat and happy in Q1, and the game is in the books just like that.
Maybe Hank needs to sacrifice his body and run more often.
33 incomplete passes in the last two games. That's going to wear out any punter's leg.

Amazing read, I reviewed the thread from the start, and I remember thinking all those things except for the mention of all the QB's who were free agents, why pick someone if they leave your team even before the season starts.

I'm still undecided who was the better pick, Burris or Glenn, sure Glenn is doing better, but he's on the better team. Burris sure has been a great embasador for the team in Ottawa.
He delievered the Prime Minister's season tickets personally

Burris would have been over 300 yards in passing, if not for the inexcusable drops.
In the end, Reilly had the better game, because of his running. He deserved the win, even with the Ottawa defense keeping him out of the end-zone.

I hope the Ottawa fans are not getting discouraged. Realistically they should expect several seasons like this as they build from scratch.
